Mesh Helps Announces Inaugural Group of Accredited Products
Newport News, Virginia, 9/10/2024 - Solobo Toys is proud to announce that its Emotional Baggage has successfully achieved MESH Accreditation. This esteemed recognition is the result of thorough product evaluation and certification conducted by FUNdamentally Children, the independent, third-party accrediting body for MESH Helps.
MESH Helps, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening kids’ resilience through play, has developed this initiative in collaboration with resilience expert, Dr. Deborah Gilboa who researched and published “We’re in a Youth Mental Health Crisis and the Toy & Game Industry Needs to be Part of the Solution” White Paper. The MESH Accreditation Program is designed to support the youth mental health crisis by recognizing products that intentionally build skills of resilience.
“We’re so excited to see Emotional Baggage get MESH Accreditation! At Solobo, we’ve always believed that play can open doors to important conversations, especially when it comes to emotions. This recognition really reinforces what we’re all about—making it easier for kids and families to talk about feelings in a way that’s fun and natural.” – Courtney Peebles, Founder of Solobo Toys
This accreditation is a significant milestone for Solobo Toys, underscoring their commitment to creating products that contribute to the mental well-being of children.
